Nuclear Energy, a Sustainable Source of Low Carbon Energy for the Arctic
Arctic Pavilion (D17)
15 November 2024 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM Arctic Pavilion (D17)

This event discussed the potential of nuclear technologies such as small modular ractors to provide a sustainable source of energy to the communities living in the Artic, and to replace costly and GHG-emitting solutions that are in use today.

The event also discussed the contribution of nuclear energy and technologies to sustainable development goals, including SDG3 (good health and well-being), SDG7 (affordable and clean energy), SDG8 (decent work and economic growth) and SDG13 (Climate Action).
