The Net-Zero Nuclear (NZN) initiative, launched at COP28, has gained momentum in the industry, with more than 20 countries signing a Ministerial Declaration and over 130 nuclear energy and technology companies committing to the Industry Pledge to triple global nuclear energy capacity by 2050.

Panelists will share their plans to expand nuclear capacity and discuss how the industry can turn policy commitments into nuclear energy production. The session will highlight opportunities to scale nuclear energy, address the multiple challenges and roadblocks the industry must overcome, and the shift in approach needed to realize this ambition.
